Mrs. Shamhitha Raj Hari Venkatesh

FOUNDER / DIRECTOR

Mrs. Shamhitha Raj Hari Venkatesh is a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) licensed Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist, and a registered member of the Indian Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA). She bringsover 7 years of experience in providing Speech-Language Therapy for children. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College & Hospital, Pondicherry, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Special Needs Education (PGDSNE) and a Diploma in Child Psychology (DCP) from the Academic Council of British Learning(UK). A University Rank Holder, Mrs. Shamhitha has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting children with special needs, positively impacting over 100 families across India. In addition to her academic qualifications, she is a Certified Play Therapist, Certified Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) Practitioner, and Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Practitioner. She is a passionate advocate for early intervention and Autism. Beyond her clinical work, Mrs. Shamhitha conducts workshops for parents and educators, promoting awareness and providing practical strategies for emotional and behavioral support.

Skand Tirupur is a multidisciplinary child development center with over a decade of experience supporting children with neurodiversities, cognitive-perceptual challenges, communication disorders, and learning difficulties. Now operating in Tirupur, Skand brings together qualified professionals under one roof to provide individualized, evidence-based interventions. Step 1

CONSULTATION / PARENTAL INTERVIEW

Initially the details of the child is collected and the concerns are enquired by the parental interview

Step 2

OBSERVATION SESSIONS

Followed by the consultation, the child is alloted for the detailed evaluation sessions by the professional on a period of 3 sessions ( 45mins each)

GOALS FORMULATIONS / INDIVIDUALISED TREATMENT PLAN

Further by the end of the observation session, the treatment plan and the issues are discussed on detailed with the parent

GROUP THERAPY SESSION

The child is further enforced into group therapy sessions conducted indoor/outdoor to improve their social interaction and peer mingling.

INTEGRATED THERAPY SESSIONS

During the intensive intervention session if the child requires additional therapy, the child gets integrated therapy by multidisciplinary team.

INTENSIVE THERAPY SESSIONS

The therapy sessions are allocated for each day and the intervention is provided intensively.

PERIODIC RE-EVALUATIONS

The child during their intervention term, the child is being periodically re-evaluated to track the progress.

INTERMITENT SESSIONS

The therapy sessions are gradually reduced ensuring the skills attained are generalized and maintenance.

FOLLOW UP & DISCHARGE

The child is then allocated for the follow up session in order to make sure no regression occurs. Then The Child will be Discharged.
